As per Check Point’s report, from 2017, Google was monitoring these apps containing viruses. Hackers were stealing private data as well as looting users through these mobile apps. However, now the company has removed these mobile apps from its platform. Earlier, the company removed 25 mobile apps from the Play Store, which were stealing data from Facebook users.

Google removed 25 apps from its platform

Google removed 25 mobile apps from the Play Store earlier this month. The company had taken this action regarding data theft. They were stealing data from Facebook users. These apps were given to Google by Evina, a French cybersecurity firm. Evina had given information about these apps in one of her blogs. Most of these apps were related to video editing, flashlights, and wallpapers.
